Considered one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites, it's dominated by the ancient brick Mahabodhi Temple Complex, built to mark the site where the Buddha attained enlightenment beneath a sacred Bodhi Tree.

Vaishali is also home to possibly the earliest known example of a stupa, the Buddha relic stupa which is said to contain the ashes of the Buddha.
This sacred site is revered as the place where Lord Buddha attained Parinirvana, the final and complete liberation from the cycle of birth and death. One of the biggest Buddhist attractions of this place is the Parinirvana Temple.
The Mahabodhi Temple was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002. Impressive as it is, the temple complex didn't always look this way. Prior to 1880, when it was restored by the British, all accounts indicate that it was a sadly neglected for and partially collapsed ruin.

Day 01: Delhi Agra
Pickup from New Delhi Hotel / Airport and drive to Agra enroute visit to Fatehpur
sikri ( time permitting). On arrival in Agra, check in the hotel and freshen up.
In the evening, get ready to visit the magnificent Taj Mahal. Overnight in the
hotel. Note: Taj Mahal is closed on Friday.
Day 02: Agra - Varanasi (by Overnight train)
After breakfast start to complete the remaining monuments of Agra like Baby Taj
, Sikandra and Agra Fort. In the evening time take overnight train for Varanasi.
Day 03 Arrive in Varanasi
On arrival at Varanasi airport, our representative will meet you and transfer
you to the hotel in Varanasi. Rest and relax at the hotel, later explore the
city of Varanasi, visit various ghats, sacred temples and the local market of
Varanasi. Later in the evening attend Aarti on the bank of River Ganges.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04 : Varanasi (Local Sightseeing & Sarnath Visit)
Early in the morning, enjoy a boat ride on the River Ganges, followed by a
visit to Akhara and see the traditional form of martial arts practiced there.
Morning city tour of Varanasi, this includes a walk through the various sacred
Ghats. Visit the sacred shrine of Kashi- Vishwanath (also known as the Golden
Temple), and Bharat Mata Mandir, a simple temple dedicated to 'Mother India'.
Later proceed to Sarnath, an important site for the Buddhists, visit the
Dhamekha Stupa, the Archaeological museum and the Chaukhandi Stupa. In the
evening attend aarti on the bank of River Ganges in Varanasi. Overnight stay at
the hotel.
Day 05 : Varanasi - Bodh Gaya (260 Km - 6 Hour Drive)
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Bodh Gaya - an important Buddhist
Pilgrimage where the Buddha attained enlightenment beneath a sacred Bodhi Tree.
Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Later visit Mahabodhi Temple - The temple,
named after the Buddha, is a sacred place for the Buddhists in Bodh Gaya, Maha-
bodhi tree - The tree is considered holy since Lord Buddha attained
enlightenment under it, after that visit Sujata Village, Niranajana River,
various monasteries, etc. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 06 : Bodhgaya - Full day sightseeing.
After breakfast at hotel visit Mahabodhi Temple and Monasteries built by other
Buddhist country. After Lunch Sujata Village- The village was named after a girl
who offered milk to Siddhartha Gautama on his way to BodhGaya. Dinner and
overnight stay will be at Bodhgaya .
Day 07 : Bodhgaya - Departure
After breakfast at hotel and rest to the day is free for leisure. In time
transfer to Airport/ Railway for onward journey.
